While my dad was visiting Chicago for my birthday we took him to Rosa's Lounge downtown to hear Vance Kelly's band play. While there we put a bug in Vance Kelly's ear that my dad loves the blues AND plays Base guitar. Vance got my dad to come up on stage and play with them for a full set (4 or 5 songs.) It was great, an opportunity of a lifetime.
